WHAT IS A SECOND LINE?

A second line is a New Orleans tradition. After the ceremony, a brass band will lead us through the French Quarter as we dance our way to the reception. Grab a handkerchief, a drink, and start the celebration!

HOW FAR IS THE CABILDO FROM THE HOTEL MONTELEONE?

It is less than half a mile, about 4 blocks.

HOW DO I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO DOWNTOWN NEW ORLEANS?

The airport (MSY) is about a 20-30 minute drive from downtown and the French Quarter. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are readily available outside baggage claim. Taxis have a flat $36 fare to the French Quarter/CBD for up to two passengers. Public transportation is not available.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

June in New Orleans is typically hot and humid, with occasional scattered showers. Luckily, our venues are indoors with plenty of air conditioning!
